In this episode, the team heads to Reeuwijk, a green and peaceful area where Elly has lived for 43 years. Together with her husband, she helped build the house – much of it by hand. Due to illness, her husband now lives in a care home, and Elly is living there on her own.
She turns to the team from De Grote Huisverbouwing for support, and Ivo, Laura, Sarkar, Ad and the rest are more than ready to transform her home into a warm and functional space once again.
