Explore all options

Looking for a modern fireplace without the hassle of flue installation or remodelling? Choose a suspended fireplace. This ceiling-hung fireplace runs on bioethanol and instantly adds atmosphere—no chimney needed, ideal for any home..

What is a suspended fireplace?

A suspended fireplace hangs from the ceiling, making the flames look like they float. It burns clean bioethanol fuel, releasing almost no scent. Since no smoke is produced, no chimney or flue is required. The pipe is purely decorative..

Why choose a suspended fireplace?

A suspended fireplace not only has a sleek design but is also easy to install. No renovation required. With just a few strong bolts, you can mount it to the ceiling. Here are the key benefits:

  • No chimney or vent needed
  • Easy to install yourself
  • Clean-burning with bio-ethanol
  • Safe to use
  • Ideal for rental homes
  • Eye-catching design

Choose from two models: Silo and Floh

Xaralyn offers two suspended fireplace models: the Silo and the Floh. Both are made of black metal and include a safe ceramic burner.

  • The Silo is larger and makes a bold statement in your interior.
  • The Floh is more compact and playful, perfect for smaller spaces.

You can add extra ambiance with a ceramic wood set. This creates the look of a real fireplace—but without the smoke or ash.

No chimney? No problem!

Many homes or apartments don’t have a chimney—and sometimes, you’re not even allowed to install one. With a suspended fireplace, that’s no issue. It operates without smoke or gas and doesn't need any flue.

The ethanol burns cleanly, with no odor or harmful emissions. That makes it better for both your health and the environment. Xaralyn’s ceramic burner adds an extra layer of safety: the flame is evenly distributed and easy to extinguish.

A fireplace as a showpiece

A suspended fireplace isn’t just a heat source—it’s a true design feature. The slim black design combined with real flames turns this fireplace into a stunning eye-catcher. From modern to industrial interiors, a ceiling fireplace always fits in.

Easy installation

You don’t need a professional installer to mount a suspended fireplace. All you need is a solid ceiling. In most cases, you can attach the fireplace directly to a concrete ceiling or wooden beam structure. You fill the burner via an opening at the top. Lighting it is easy with a long lighter. Within minutes, you’ll be enjoying cozy flames—no smoke, no hassle.

Want to hang a ceiling fireplace yourself? Here’s how it works

The suspended fireplace comes in two parts: one is the pipe, the other is the fireplace itself. Use plugs and bolts to attach the pipe to the ceiling. Make sure everything is level. This is a two-person job and can easily be done yourself.

Ensure the ceiling is strong, or use a support beam

Note: a suspended fireplace is heavier than a regular lamp, so your ceiling must be strong enough. Plaster ceilings or suspended ceilings alone are not suitable.

Preferably, attach the fireplace to concrete or a load-bearing wooden beam. If that’s not available, you can install an extra beam for reinforcement. This prevents the fireplace from loosening or falling.

Not sure about the ceiling’s strength? Consult a professional to ensure a safe installation.
