How does it work?

We start by building a fully wooden mantel structure. This wooden base is then carefully covered with a layer of real natural stone, either laminated or glued, depending on the desired look.

Once the outer layer is completely covered, the artisanal work begins: shaping, sanding, and finishing. The result is a mantel that looks like solid natural stone — without the weight, excessive materials, or permanent installation.

Our natural stone mantels use significantly fewer scarce materials than traditional models. That makes them not only eco-friendly but also much lighter. No need for heavy machinery or professional installation — which means lower costs and greater flexibility.

Natural stone is, by nature, unique. But we go one step further. Every Xaralyn stone mantel is finished by hand and intentionally given a lightly aged, lived-in look. Subtle imperfections and slight irregularities create a distinctive vintage appearance, as if the fireplace has been part of your home for years.

Two finish options

Choose between two finish types for your Xaralyn stone mantel:

• Rough, unpolished
  After shaping and sanding, the stone remains open and untreated. This offers a raw, natural aesthetic but is more sensitive to staining.
• Smooth, polished
  The surface is filled and polished until it has a subtle sheen. This version is easy to clean and maintain with a damp cloth.

Combine with electric or bioethanol fireplaces

Our mantels are compatible with a range of electric and bioethanol insert fireplaces. Because these do not emit smoke or harmful gases, no flue is needed — making them suitable for any room, even apartments or rooms without chimneys.
